4ª Estação | Jesus encontra Sua Mãe Fragilidade: Falta de compromisso

Provavelmente, por entre os gritos da multidão, ouviste a voz da Tua mãe. Uma voz suave e inconfundível. “Meu filho. Estou aqui”. Procuraste o seu rosto. Encontraste-o sereno a dizer que “sim” com a cabeça. “Sim”. Era tudo o que precisavas de ver. Um sinal de confirmação. Um sinal que viesse do amor puro. Como a dizer: “Vai em frente, compromete-te, compromete-te com o Bem. Deus ajudará.”

Fala-me ao ouvido, mãe de Jesus. Fala-me de amor, fala-me de compromisso. De compromisso com o Bem. Não me deixes ficar sentado à espera. À espera do “momento ideal”, da pessoa ideal, do trabalho ideal, da Igreja ideal. Não me deixes ficar sentado a imaginar, enquanto o mundo avança sem mim e sem aquilo que eu teria para lhe dar. Maria, ajuda-me a abraçar a minha vocação.

4th Station | Jesus meets His Mother Fragility: Lack of commitment

Amidst the shouting crowd, You probably heard Your mother's voice. A soft and unmistakable voice. "My son. I am here." You searched for her face. And You found her, looking calm and nodding her head. "Yes." That was all You needed to see. A sign of confirmation. A sign that came from pure love. As if to say: "Go ahead, commit yourself, commit yourself to the Good. God will help."

Whisper in my ear, Mother of Jesus. Tell me about love, tell me about commitment. About commitment to the Good. Do not let me sit around waiting. Waiting for the "ideal moment", for the ideal person, for the ideal job, for the ideal Church. Do not let me sit around dreaming, while the world moves on without me and without everything I have to offer. Mary, help me embrace my vocation.
